What Can I Expect During My Juvederm® Treatment?

Your surgeon will inject Juvederm® into your skin with a very fine needle, which is even smaller than the type used for immunization shots. Most patients are quite comfortable during the treatment, and we’ll happily offer a topical numbing cream if that would make you feel more comfortable.

Multiple injections are needed to ensure that the final results are consistent with your goals. You might see some improvement right after your appointment, but usually takes some time for the hyaluronic acid to bind with water, filling in your lines and wrinkles.

You can resume your daily life right away, but you might notice some tenderness, pinpoint bleeding, and bruising around the injection site. This is normal, and will subside in a day or two.
