What Should I Make Sure to Do Before Having My Botox® Treatment?

Before you come in for your treatment, you’ll want to set up a consultation with one of our board-certified plastic surgeons. We’ll work closely with you to determine whether or not Botox® is the best anti-aging option for you, and go over everything you’ll need to know before your procedure, so you can feel completely safe and totally comfortable.

What Should I Expect During My Botox® Treatment?

Botox® in Richmond & Midlothian, VA is administered using a very fine needle. Most of our patients don’t have a problem with the injections, but we’re always happy to apply a topical numbing agent if that makes you feel more comfortable.

Multiple injections will be made along the muscles in your forehead and around your eyes.

You may notice some “pinpoint” bleeding, bruising, and perhaps some tenderness around the injection sites, but these symptoms tend to be mild and usually only last between 24 to 48 hours.
