Genetic testing for this mother of two showed BRCA2 mutation, which increased her risk for breast cancer. She decided to have prophylactic mastectomies. Dr. Hubert performed direct-to-implant reconstruction on top of the muscle. He also used alloderm (human cadaver skin graft) as an internal bra to help position the implants.
