Contact Us- Breast DIEP Flap Reconstruction
Left side breast cancer, which also required radiation. Initial reconstruction with tissue expanders. However, the right side was removed due to infection. Dr. Hubert then reconstructed both breasts with DIEP flaps. She also underwent one round of fat grafting and liposuction of the flanks at the same time as nipple reconstruction. She declined areolar tattoos for the color.
